Manager Environment
Key Responsibilities :
Compliances related to Environment :
1. Tracking validity of all licences and ensuring timely application of renewals / Amendments for continuity of business and meet business needs.
2. Lead the process of seeking environmental licences from all regulatory authorities for all sites,
3. Periodic reviewing of Compliance to Environment Licences, EC/CFE/CTO/HWA /CGWA NoC /UPGWA Noc and assist in complying to the conditions stipulated across all sites. Regularly access new legislations, amendment to existing legislations and assess their implication to operations and develop actions for compliance across sites. Maintain the library/repository of all regulations for future reference and strategic actions.
4. Regularly accessing NGT orders, MoEFCC/ CPCB directions, public notices by relevant regulators for predictive/preventive action at our manufacturing sites and businesses. Predict the changing trends that poses potential risk to continuity of business and develop mitigation measures.
5. Conceptualise and develop actions/projects for environment compliance, Resource optimization, Cost reduction, Risk mitigation and Sustainability.
6. Undertake/facilitate Environmental Studies
7. Drafting responses to Regulatory letters & notices, Public complaints, Customer / Vendor queries, Stakeholder reporting, etc.
8. Facilitate certification audits for corporate office and sites for all Certifications.
9. Preparing and monitoring implementation of Annual Budget and Strategy preparation and action for business continuity
Capacity on Environment :
- Expertise/Knowledge of all Environmental laws & Ground water regulations as applicable to Chemical manufacturing and Distillery industry.
- Knowledge on Environment monitoring and Performance standards for industry.
- Effective techno-Legal communication, in Oral and written.
- Good understanding of Design criteria and Operation of ETPs, STP and ZLD systems.
- Excellent ability to access information from websites of regulators, Judiciary, Government agencies to trace and track matters relevant to business and operations.
