- Business Development: This is an individual contributor role in a high-performance environment which emphasizes on spreading Company's unique way of doing business with the enterprise customers.
- Present Company to key Decision makers: You would need to understand the Company Value offerings deeply and be able to pitch to Heads of Logistics or C-level Executives of Fortune 500 and High Turnover Indian companies.
- Account lifecycle management: Be able to map the account (end users, influencers, decision makers) and plan the sales process from initial demo to closure and transition to Key account management within a defined timeline.
- Bidding the enquiry processes: You would need to participate in end-to-end request-for-quotation process for the enterprises.
- Maximizing the Revenues: You would need to co-ordinate and close all contractual documentation for closure and revenue collection. Respond to all client-related matters, from contractual agreements, solution implementation and service performance, to service enhancements and new business opportunities, to get the most out of each customer account.
Desirable Skills and Experience :
- MBA from top tiered management Institutes (IIMs, FMS, MDI, ISB etc.) (Engineering Graduates or Diploma in Logistics or any related discipline would be an advantage)
- 4+ years of experience in consultative Sales. Experience in industries with high import and exports movements such as White goods, Automobiles, Textiles, etc. would be preferred.
- Prior understanding of logistics, freight or supply chain industries and their capabilities would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of strategic account sales techniques and processes including understanding customer needs, overcoming objections, developing business cases, negotiating and closing complex deals
- Ability to manage long, complex sales cycles from beginning to end.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills, be able to convince prospects.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills, Process-orientation, Business acumen.
