They are looking for Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Manager ( 4 positions ) Global position : Any nationality can apply

PURPOSE STATEMENT

- The EDM Strategy Lead is responsible for the realisation and continuous improvement of our enterprise Data Strategy, in a specific business Function (Finance / HR / Marketing & Sales / Operations), under the direction of the Head of EDM Strategy.

- The candidate will help maintain the EDM Strategy to keep it fit-for-purpose as business priorities and needs change over time while ensuring that the Data Strategy is being actively realised in their Function by directing the actions and activities across the group by being responsible for the day-to-day management and exploitation of data and information.

- The net results of these activities would be to ensure that data - the new oil, is well governed and managed through strong processes and tools in a standard & consolidated fashion across the function

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: The candidate is expected to -

- Drive the Data Management Strategy & be the main point of contact for the Strategy implementation for a business function under the direction of a senior data management practitioner

- Support the design and delivery of any new process, organisation, tool or technique in the data management space under the Data Strategy

- Engage with data management execution teams across the Function to confirm compliance with the operating model mandated by the Data Strategy

- Create standard operating procedures for the use of enterprise data management technologies such as data modelling and data cataloguing

- Be an ambassador for the importance of sound data management practice across their Function with insights to the goals, approach, processes and activities of the Function

- Design and document efficient business processes & operating procedure for the data management across the function

- Act as an expert on latest technology trends & products in the space of data management.

- Consult with leaders across the function and help them translate their ambitions into concrete data requirements

- Develop project plans and detailed action plans

- Embrace project & team management aimed towards getting the job done. This will include working with MDM, data standards, data scientists, data engineers and business stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS :

- Educational qualifications: Graduate in Engineering / IT / Business Administration

- Minimum of 10 years of overall experience with 5 years hand-on experience in data strategy & management

- Strong capabilities in networking, managing & partnering with senior global stakeholders

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to design and deliver education events and workshops

- Good programme management capabilities with excellent knowledge of MS Office and other desktop tools

- Good awareness of the latest data management technologies and techniques, the best way to get value from them and the ability to keep abreast of emerging solutions.

- Solid team player with the ability to deal with ambiguity & negotiation skills
