Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary) :

An important team member in the digitization journey. The role manages multiple projects under the digitalization umbrella. Creation of analytical models using ML/DL/AI, data transformations, visualization & statistics.

KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- 5+ years of strong experience, working on Apache ecosystem components like MapReduce, HDFS, HBase, Hive, Sqoop, Pig, Nifi, Oozie, Zookeeper, Flume, Spark, Beam, Flink with AWS Big Data Services or Open Source components on EC2 with AWS.

- Experience in developing & deploying Enterprise Data Lake on AWS

- Hands on experience on AWS cloud services (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, Data Pipeline, EMR, DynamoDB, Lambda, Kinesis, SNS, SQS, EKS)

- Experience in performing data enrichment, cleansing, analytics, aggregations

- Develop prototypes, proof of concepts and custom analysis

- Data engineering of structured and unstructured data from problem statement to model deployment

- Proficient in big data ingestion and streaming tools like AWS Kinesis, Nifi, Apache Beam, Kafka, and Storm

- Experience with different data formats like Json, Avro, parquet, and ORC and compressions like snappy & bzip

- Good Knowledge/Understanding of SQL & NoSQL data bases and hands on work experience in writing applications on NoSQL databases like Cassandra and MongoDB

- Good knowledge of Datawarehousing concepts and ETL processes using AWS Services

- Diverse experience in working with variety of Database like MySql, Postgres SQL, MariaDB and HANA.

- Experienced in using IDEs and Tools like GitHub, Jenkins/Bitbucket, JupyterNotebooks and Anaconda.

- Strong team player, ability to work independently and in a team as well, ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, commitment towards learning, & documentation skills

- Practical knowledge of statistical packages in Python & R

- Experience of working with applications like SAP Hana, BW4HANA, Salesforce from an integration perspective

- Data quality to support sound business decisions and effective engineering
