Manager - Employee Relations - Manufacturing Plant (8-12 yrs)

- This position will be accountable for the execution and delivery of employee and industrial relations (ER/IR) services for Western Region for manufacturing plants in Pune, , Gujarat & other commercial offices located in Pune, Mumbai & Sales staff in Western part of India.

- You will be required to make sure that businesses comply with Labour Law, Statutory Compliances, Employee Disciplinary Process, Performance Improvement Plans, Terminations & resignations, contract labour management, vendor management for two plants & Staff located in offices and sales organization.

- You will work closely with business stakeholders, union committee & external agencies for strategic deliverables viz. long term settlements, manpower budgeting, dealing with low performers, terminations, employment contracts interpretations & any other deliverables assigned time to time.

- Develop and maintain key internal/external relationships, which may include: business leaders, hiring managers, business/function human resource professionals, Union Leadership Internal & External, employees & industry contacts

- Leading the contractor's management, contract labour management, and statutory compliances. Deliver business solutions and advice business on contract management and provide processes and tools.

- Leading the complex and high business stakes union negotiations - collective bargaining protecting the companies interest dealing with unions, govt machineries and internal stakeholders. Dealing with complex union matters - working on holidays, internal / external transfer, job changes, restructuring, domestic enquiries, termination / discharge, long term settlement negotiations, bonus negotiations, pursuing adherence to conditions of settlement contracts.

- Worked with the shared services organization for all HR services delivery for the western region.

- Work with L & D to deliver the programs as per business identified training needs.

- Lead the vendor management, service providers management; regular reviews of services, contract/agreements and keeping Finance and user department for service & business deliverable

- Fluent in Hindi, English & preferably local language Marathi or Gujarathi

- Experience working with a shared services organization(preferred)
