Job Description for - Education Sales Manager
We are looking for an experienced sales manager who can help us in driving solutions in Education/ Academia segments. This person needs to be a passionate professional and grow the business in the regional market.
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for managing the Education Programs through Distributor and reseller channel in their territory
- Achieving revenue targets of SW and services sales
- Growing adoption and usage of technologies in academia
- Responsible for day to day support to distributor and resellers for transactions
- Managing sales pipeline for Education program(s) for their territory
- Strategize and work with other team members across departments to achieve expected business outcomes
- Manage Reporting / dashboards using CRM / Sales Force tools on daily / weekly basis
Job Requirements:
- 8-10 years Sales Management experience
- Prior experience of selling software/solutions in Higher Education sector
- Excellent understanding of Indian higher education system and universities- Board of studies and senate functioning
- Should have understanding of Software selling & operations through distributor / reseller channel
- Excellent conversation, communication and presentation skills
