Manager - Direct Taxation - Manufacturing/Production

Job Description - The individual would be responsible for heading the direct tax function of the entire organisation, working closely with the Managing Director.

Our client is a European MNC with presence in all major countries in the world. The company is primarily into manufacturing of materials technology and automotive catalysts. They are now looking for a dynamic individual to lead their direct taxation function.

Description :

As the Taxation Manager, you would report to the Managing Director. Your key responsibilities would include:

1. Income Tax

- Corporate tax computation and payments

- Corporate Tax Returns filing and Assessments

- Tax Audit (Income Tax Act 1961)

2. Transfer Pricing

- Transfer Pricing documentation - Internal and Statutory

- Transfer pricing Audit (Income Tax Act 1961)

- Transfer Pricing assessments

- Advance Pricing Agreement

- CbC reporting and Master file compliance

3. Withholding Taxes (Local and International)

- Applicability, compliance and Payments

- Periodic Returns

- TCS

4. Indirect Taxes

- GST computation, payments and monthly Returns

- Input Tax Credit / Availment and utilization

- GST Audit / Assessments

- Completion of assessments under previous laws -VAT, Service Tax, CST and Central Excise

5. Incentives and Benefits

- IGCR- application, intimation and periodic returns

- EPCG - application and fulfilment of obligation

- Duty Drawback - applications

- PSI - application and obtaining Tax refunds

- SVB - application and renewal

Profile :

As the successful candidate, you are a Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance with 5-8 years of post qualification experience in a manufacturing MNC. You are currently from Pune or open to relocation, as the role is based out of outskirts of Pune.
