Purpose of the Role :
The role holder would be part of the direct taxation team and responsible for ensuring compliance with the provisions of law.
Qualification & Experience :
- Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years post qualification work experience in the area of Direct Taxation and total experience of 5-6 years.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage
Key Deliverables of the Role :
- Review of tax provision working of all group companies on quarterly basis
- Ensuring transfer pricing compliance, Preparation of tax and transfer pricing report for the purpose of audit
- Liasioning with auditors for tax and transfer pricing audits
- Filing of income tax returns for all group companies
- Preparation of submissions for the purpose of corporate and transfer pricing assessments
- Liasioning with finance operational / regional teams on support required for tax litigation
- Co-ordinate with cross business/ cross function to ensure adequate and proactive responses to business opportunities and risk.
- Represent the company in assessments
- Workings related to cross charge from transfer pricing perspective
- Review of TDS and WHT compliance

- In the long term, can shift to other roles in Corporate Finance or Business Finance and Commercial both India as well as International
