Manager - Direct Taxation - CA (3-5 yrs)

CA qualified with 3-5 yrs experience into Direct Taxation.

Job description :

1. Advisory :

- Preparing professional opinions on matters relating to direct taxation pertaining to various sectors.

2. Regulatory Compliance, Due Diligence and Restructuring :

- Filing income tax return of HNI clients and corporate clients in India and abroad

- Filing of compounding applications under Indian Income Tax Act, 1961

- Conducting Tax due diligence of companies;

- Advising on structuring of new business ventures and restructuring of existing business groups and family run businesses in India and abroad

3. Drafting :

- Drafted replies, submissions and appeals on direct tax matters before various forums like CIT (A), Dispute Resolution Panel (DRP), ITAT, Settlement Commission, Economic Offence Wing etc.

4. Appearance:

- Attending hearing before the Adjudicating Authority, Appellate Authority and Tax Tribunals in matters relating to Direct Tax.

- Legal research on issues pertaining to Direct Taxation, Corporate Law & GST

5. Organizational Brand Enhancement :

- Assist in contributing articles, alerts, publications etc for publication in public domain.
