Roles and Responsibilities :
- Direct Tax Assessment/ litigation , preparation & representation of appeals including at CIT(A), DRP, AAR & ITAT levels.
- Advisory on international tax issues such as permanent establishment, indirect transfer, withholding tax, cross border transaction, setting up of overseas business in India etc.
- Knowledge on transfer pricing provisions, transfer pricing assessments, filing of transfer pricing certificate and preparing the transfer pricing study and relevant document.
- To manage assessments and the tax authorities.
- Corporate Tax Planning & Advisory for strategic issues and complex tax matters.
- Interacting with Senior Management of Clients groups for successful completion of assignments.
- Supporting, training and mentoring the Direct Tax team to ensure timely delivery of quality work.
- Drafting news articles and assisting on tax updates.
