Job Title/Designation : Manager - Direct Tax Operation Job Description : POSITION PURPOSE: - Responsible for preparation of quality information & support in various activities related to Tax Operation for assigned Legal Entities in India (including a listed company). - Prepare quality information with reference to Withholding Tax, support in preparation and compilation of Advance Tax, Provision for Current Tax &amp; Deferred Tax. - Prepare error free information for Tax audit as per requirements of Tax laws. - Prepare quality information for Direct Tax assessment &amp; litigation by providing related information on accounting and others as per the guidance of supervisors. WHAT YOU DO: - Withholding Tax (TDS) Compliance- Monthly calculation and payment, Quarterly return filing, issuance of certificates, coordinate with Shared service center for necessary corrections in entries of WHT and vendor query resolution. - Preparing details for Income Tax Assessment &amp; Appellate proceedings in coordination with Strategic tax team. - Authentication of Form No. 15CA for foreign remittance, reconciliation of TDS certificates received with online tax credit statement, maintenance of tax payment records, clearing of General ledgers and updation of books with respect to direct taxes etc. - Support in computation of Current Tax &amp; Deferred Tax provision on quarterly basis for Local and Group reporting in compliance with applicable tax laws, Ind AS, Bayer AGs BKA Guidelines and judicial pronouncements. - Support in preparation of Tax Audit report in accordance with the requirement of Indian Income Tax Act, 1961 read with Income Tax Rules, 1962. - Support in computation of Advance Income Tax as per applicable tax laws. - Support in Computation of Effective Tax Rate (ETR) and expected tax cash outflows on quarterly basis in accordance with group guidelines on Tax Forecast of Bayer AGs and Ind AS requirements. WHO YOU ARE: - Chartered Accountants with minimum 3-4 years experience in handling tax accounting functions of a Public Limited/ Multinational Company. - Knowledge of SAP and tax laws compliance requirements, Accounting Standards &amp; IFRS on Current &amp; Deferred Tax. - Knowledge of TDS compliance software like Skorydov, Tax Pro, etc.
