Manager - Digital Marketing - eCommerce (5-12 yrs)
Opportunity Digital Marketing Manager - Only from Ecommerce.
Responsibilities:
Develop, own and lead member acquisition strategy and planning for assigned regions:
- Understand the drivers for profitable digital acquisition of new customers and reflect them in what we do
- Get involved with strategy and planning for customer acquisition through AdWords and social media
- Manage agencies and marketing suppliers
- Annual and quarterly forecasting and budgeting
- Set volume and cost targets by channel and ensure they are being achieved
- Reporting of management information as per the requirements of senior management
Ensure flawless and timely execution and optimization of strategies and plans:
- Oversee the customer journey from initial touch point through to conversion for all channels
- Sign off spend to approved budgets
- Measurement, tracking and reporting capability
- Develop reporting and documentation of campaign results
- Establish a culture of campaign evaluation, learning and optimization
Develop organizational capability to manage member acquisition:
- Recruit, train, mentor and manage the best talent; set goals; conduct quarterly reviews
- Select, lead and manage the most appropriate agencies and suppliers to ensure best performance; negotiate their contracts and fees; set goals; conduct quarterly reviews
- Monitor industry best practice in acquisition and ensure Durian is best of breed
- Be the champion of member acquisition and the point of reference when people are considering changes to group strategy, products and site functionality
KPI:
- Timely deliverability of reports
- New orders by new customers (joint responsibility with experience team)
- New customer acquisition through paid digital marketing, unpaid digital marketing
- New subscribers to database - increase size of database
- ROI on all channels
- Repeat customer revenue
- Traffic - number of sessions
- Average order value (joint responsibility with pricing and product team)
- CPA (paid and unpaid digital marketing)
Qualifications and Education Requirements: Should be a Graduate or Post Graduate in Marketing from a reputed college or University
Preferred Skills:
- Can interpret and work with Google Analytics
- Can manage a team of 8-9 people
- Is analytical and can understand and can interpret numerical information and data patterns
- Ideally has had exposure to Google Analytics
- Has had hands-on exposure to executing campaign level work on Adwords, SEO, facebook marketing, email and affiliates
- Can take instruction well and is fast at grasping analytical concepts
- Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills to quickly establish strong relationships at all levels of the business
- Is good at planning and organization
- Is on track to advance in a management capacity
- Demonstrates strategic and creative thinking
- Is a team player and likes fast-paced environments
- Can work fluently with Excel and Powerpoint
- Thinks on their feet and takes on responsibilities
- Can operate confidently in a fast paced, commercially rigorous culture and work well within a small team
- Ideally comes from a good school with an MBA and/or is a certified digital marketing professional
- Demonstrates a good grasp of the ecommerce environment
