Manager - Digital Adoption and Digitisation (Public Sector/Govt Consulting)


As our digital platforms and products rollout across states and cities in India, their full adoption by citizens is often hampered by roadblocks, design shortcomings and lack of robust monitoring frameworks. This role will have the mandate to consider the citizen experience and digital adoption as a whole

To achieve this, The Manager - Digital Adoption will : 

- Identify barriers to adoption of digital products by citizens

- Identify roadblocks to the rollout of digital products at the state and urban local body level

- Work with internal and external stakeholders (governments, private sector partners and civic society organizations) to unlock adoption barriers

- Work with internal teams - product, delivery and engineering, to ensure that organizational effort is mapped to intended impact

- Devise initiatives - interventions, campaigns and programmes, to drive adoption

- Monitor these initiatives closely, track key metrics and draw insights

- Conduct user research, track feedback and monitor satisfaction metrics

- Expect a fair bit of travel to meet with stakeholders (once things are safe to travel)

Here is what we are looking for in the Manager - Digital Adoption role:

1. Alignment with the mission and passionate about driving improvement in the quality of life of citizens

2. Strong initiative and intrinsic motivation to get things done


 3. An understanding of the government space and appreciation of the challenges - jurisdictions, departments, personas, processes, etc.

4. Problem-solving mindset - a. Willingness and ability to get to depth of understanding the problem. Do some ground-level detective work where required.

b. Ability to extract key themes from data points, draw lateral connections and see the essence of things

c. Understand incentives and map suggested interventions to these incentives

5. Strong project-planning skills a. You have experience in leading projects and bring responsible for project planning and tracking, ideally with government as a key-stakeholder

6. Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder-management experience

a. You have the flexibility to work with different types of people, both, within the organization and outside (bureaucrats, civil society players, etc.)

b. You have the empathy to see the issues and the impact of our work on our stakeholders, primary among which is the citizen c. Communication is your strong suite - written, spoken as well as with presentations

7. A good understanding of technology and comfort with data & data analysis
