A leading name in the retail industry is looking to hire a Demand Planning Manager to join their team in Mumbai. As a demand planning manager you would be responsible for - Demand forecasting, scenario creation, SNOP and consensus demand planning - Replenishment management - To maintain and revise buffers/ norms of active SKUs - SKU classification - Norms creation & Revision - Ensure Stock outs and Excesses are minimal and take steps to correct - Planning for New Product Introductions (NPIs) and for Product Phase outs - Inventory management - Reduce the average inventory , Manage obsolete inventory and indicators for health of inventory - MIS - publish reports on Plan Fill rates, Forecast accuracy, availability against FC, Inventory Required: - Experience in implementing Supply Chain Planning solutions, statistical demand planning models and replenishments models is preferable Preferred Industry - FMCD, Paints, Any industry where there is seasonality factor
