Manager - Demand Planning - Consumer Durable/FMCG (13-22 yrs)

The role is primarily responsible for:

- building and validating reliable sales forecast at short, medium and long term on all product categories in order to reach sales, customer service and inventory targeted levels

- leading and promoting demand phase S&OP process to ensure a strong adoption of the process and increase accuracy of sales forecast

1) Develop solid leadership position as owner of Demand Planning:

- Work in close collaboration with business team (sales, marketing, finance) and Supply Planning Manager to reach business objectives (Net Sales, Market Share, IFO) through realistic plans

- Lead responsible communication channels with Management

- Prepare, promote and animate S&OP process review

- Work in close relationship with Central Supply planning and end-to-end performance teams to continuously align processes and drive end-to-end initiatives to increase demand performance and reduce inventory coverage

- Build & strengthen credibility of demand planning function with Management

2) Build and grow S&OP process across Commercial, Finance and Supply-Chain stakeholders

- Develop and closely monitor Demand Plan for India

- Manage the approval and communication of India Demand plans including risks & opportunities

- Identify gaps in Finance Rolling Forecast and prepare strong remedial plans to manage them

- Anticipate long-term trends and clearly communicate sales forecasts to Supply Planning

- Generate a continuous improvement mindset through various stakeholders of S&OP

3) Develop the Demand Planning team to ensure high impact and strong performance

- Establish a high-performance culture via communication of clear expectations and targets

- Develop a proactive communication culture between Demand Planning Team and all other stakeholders

- Develop strong business acumen to make planners key partners of business

- Develop functional and social competencies of all team members; build talent within the team

4) Act as a key player of Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization:

- Be proactive in creating a strong Supply Chain community, collaborate with Supply Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing teams and central functional teams

- Be involved; support and manage key projects and initiatives within GSC transformation

- Enforce Supply Chain perception within the company to attract and retain best talents

- Lead the development and utilization of tools & systems that support automation of Demand Planning and S&OP operations
