Data Science Manager

Eligibility Criteria:

- Years of Experience - Minimum 12 - 16 years, 4-6 years of supervisory experience.

Job Experience:

- Experience in developing Business Intelligence (BI), Applications, Advance Analytics and Data Science Projects

- Educational: Bachelors or masters Degree: Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/MBA (Systems & operations)

Primary Responsibilities:

- Lead Application Development and Data Science Project Teams. Hands-On Experience in BI, Advance Analytics and Application Development

- Deliver Rapid Prototypes, Experiments, Hypothesis testing and Adhoc Analysis to support business with data driven decision making.

- Provide technical leadership to BI team building architecture for tracking daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting of metrics

- Work with Global and local IT and Cross-functional business teams

- Maintain KPI to support business needs of functional managers

- Develop generic analytics infrastructure and master library based on MS SQL database that can be used for reporting across functions

- Leading POCs to create break through technical solutions, performing exploratory and targeted data analyses

- Deliver adhoc requests for information from established data sources, such as SAP, SQL databases, QuickBase applications & 3PL Portals

- Review data and develop visual representations of data to support management decision making

- Understand the business context of functional managers and be able to interpret data and make recommendations based on data analysis

- Develop incremental reporting requirements and maintain and manage data in line with the data architects roadmap

- Support the development and implementation of best-known methods with respect to data analytics

- Responsible for developing and deploying analytical & business applications, AI application. Also, Responsible for Business Process Automation and Digital Transformation Projects

- Lead strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence and intelligent applications

- Experienced in writing formal documentation on Business Requirements, Functional, and Technical Specifications.

- Working Experience on Agile Methodologies, User Stories and adoption of Agile Culture

- Familiar with Project Management Methodologies. MS Project skills preferred.

- Identifies, researches and resolves complex technical problem

- Ability to work independently and take personal initiative

- Familiarity with statistical techniques and lean six sigma and its application to data interpretation

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate cross-functionally

- Strong interpersonal skills, with a desire to work as part of a global team

Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:

- Working Experience in BI , Data Science, AI, DL and ML Projects.

- Hands on experience and must be up to date with skills in Data Warehousing, Business Objects, ETL, Business analytics & query building in MS SQL

- Experience developing Business Intelligence with SAP HANA/SQL Server & Power BI/Qlik Sense/Tableau

- Working knowledge in Web Application Development and at a minimum understanding of HTML 5.0, CSS 3.0, and JavaScript. Application development exposure with Java, C#, JQuery, Power BI, SAP Lumira, Appian, .NET, Cloud Computing (Azure, AWS), ASP.NET MVC, Angular JS, node.js.

- Must have led a BI team building corporate level architecture for Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations

Desirable Skill:

- Experience in Cloud Computing, Big Data, Industry 4,0.

- Tools: Python, R, Tensor flow and another advance analytical tool.
