Manager - Data Science - Deep Learning - BFSI (6-12 yrs)

Job Responsibilities:

- Interface with business partners within various teams of the client's functional & operational areas to understand the business process, business needs and detailed requirements around data analytics

- Conduct detail analysis of data as per given objective to solve business problems depending on the business requirement.

- Develop descriptive and predictive models to solve business problems. Review effectiveness of models to determine readiness for business use

- Experience in project management, client & team management (preferred)

- Ensure deliverables are of high quality and accuracy.

- Manage the end to end delivery of given analytical project

- Prepare high impact presentations highlighting project scope, deliverables and benefits

- Manage and lead team of 2-4 members. Responsible for the overall development of junior analysts within the team

- Ability to assess the risks which can affect project delivery. Proactive highlighting them to the regional lead.

- Produce high impact presentations and commentary alongside the analytics off-shore team/key stakeholder(s)


Competency- Skills & Knowledge/ Values and Behaviours:

- Knowledge of statistical techniques such as OLS, Logistic regression, CHAID, Cluster, Factor Analysis and advance analytical techniques such as gradient boosting (Xgboost), random forest, Natural language Processing, Neural network/deep neural network etc.

- Good exposure to implementing Natural Language Processing with Count vectorizer, TF- IDF vectorizer, Word Embeddings etc

- Hands on knowledge of developing machine learning and deep learning models in Python

- Prior experience in an Insurance domain preferred

- Prior experience in deploying machine learning models to web applications (with python flask, Django etc)

- Ability to work in a rapidly changing and growth-oriented environment with regularly changing priorities and developing opportunities

- Strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to influence and gain consensus

- Strong team player, with an ability to work in an unstructured environment and a drive to learn new skills and business processes

Relevant work experience required :

- 6-12 Years

Minimum education required :

- B.Tech/B.E/B. Stats/MCA. Masters, (MBA / Statistics/Computer Science)
