Key Responsibilities: This job would have the following responsibilities - - Managing the entire cycle of ML Models from Data extraction, Feature engineering, Model development, Training, Verification, Deployment, monitoring to validation at the defined frequencies - Embed automated processes for model deployment, and implementation - Would require thorough understanding of machine-learning algorithms - Excellent understanding of ML techniques such as: Linear regression, logistic regression, decision tree, random forests, bagging & boosting techniques, SVM, neural networks and clustering techniques like K-means, h-clustering - Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage data to drive business decisions - Data extraction, preprocessing, analysis of structured & unstructured data, and data visualization - Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns - Ad-hoc analysis and sharing insights with the business users - Hands on experience with any of the visualization tools to share the insights quickly with the business teams, if required (experience using Power BI- not mandatory) Requirements: - Minimum 4 years of experience (BFSI domain with insurance expertise will be preferred) - Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst - Experienced in data mining & statistical model development - Understanding of machine-learning and operations research - Hands on with Python/R is a must along with knowledge of querying; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ will be an advantage - Analytical mindset and business acumen - Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra) - Problem-solving aptitude - Excellent communication and presentation skills
