Description

In this role you will work in close collaboration with the service management team and depending on the context of your engagement, you will work locally with the client service team and/or the client. Your key responsibilities will include leading a team of data engineers to determine database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming as well as reviewing objectives with clients and evaluating current systems.

As a Manager, you will develop complex algorithms in SQL, based on discussions with client and service delivery team. You will develop scripts to validate, transform and load raw data using programming languages such as Python, Perl or Shell. You will conduct data assessment, perform data quality checks and transform data using SQL and ETL tools.

You will also design and drive the work plan for the optimization/automation and standardization of the processes incorporating best practices to achieve efficiency gains.

Given the pace of this role, you will develop cross-site relationships to enhance idea generation. You will manage stakeholders/ partner expectations and coach and mentor new hires by sharing expertise. Lastly, you will collaborate with the team to support ongoing business processes by delivering high-quality end products on time and performing quality checks wherever required.

Profile

- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree in computer science or information technology is a plus

- 11+ years of relevant and professional work experience with a reputed analytics firm

- Expertise in handling large amounts of data through SQL, T-SQL or PL-SQL

- Strong knowledge and experience in scripting languages such as Python, Perl or Shell

- Strong coding/development abilities in the field of data manipulation and ETL

- Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources and automation of data processes

- Experience overseeing the data stream of multiple projects including client deployment, integration & migration

- Strong understanding of data-warehousing and data lake concepts

- Experience working in Big Data and cloud architecture including Amazon Web Services is good to have
