Manager - Data Engineering - BFSI (6-15 yrs)

Job Purpose :

- The role incumbent will responsible for implementing our data structure, storage and data pipeline architecture from scratch, optimizing data flow and automate collection of KPI's.


- The incumbent will work with data analysts/architects and external partners to design and implement optimal data delivery architecture to support next generation of products and data initiatives in the company. He/she will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for driving data driven innovation projects with measurable business outcomes.

Job description :

- Experience in BI and ETL with expertise in DataMart implementation, solution rollouts and data analysis.

- Must have a good understanding of cloud (AWS) Data lake and DataMart setups

- Have exposure to dataOPS.

- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.

- Experience of managing and implementing end to end projects related to data.

- Work with internal stakeholders to assist with data-related requirements, technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, automate manual processes, optimize data delivery and data infrastructure for greater scalability.

- Experience of implementing Agile, Scrum & Iterative processes

- Good to have experience with relational databases, data pipeline and workflow management tools (like Airflow), AWS cloud services and scripting languages like Python, Java etc.

- Keep tab of latest technology trends and leverage it for improvements and changes in current setup to increase efficiency, reduce maintenance cost and time to market.
