A: Operational Excellence To Drive the DC operations in order to ensure defined SLAs are met for shared services like DC LAN (DC Switching) and Datacenter Hosting services. - Maintain the internal network structure of a data center and keeping them running 24x7 - Provide solutions to complex problems on the integration of various network technologies - Monitor the environmental conditions of a data center to ensure they are optimum for servers, storages and internal cloud setup - Conduct inspections on power and cooling systems to ensure they are operational and efficient in coordination with DC hosting partner - Organize the floor space and responsible for capacity planning of data center space. - Resolve operational, infrastructure or hardware incidents in a data center. B: Provisioning - To implement new services for Group in Datacenter domain to meet the business requirement. - Responsible for Installation &amp; configuration of new datacenter switches, routers and another cloud setup. - Design plans as well as lead initiatives for the optimization and restructuring of servers and network architecture. - Lead new projects implementation for cloud setup &amp; network switches etc. - Need analytical Skill to identify faults in DC active &amp; passive systems. C: Process Adherence - To facilitate businesses for ITIL / ISO 27001 framework in order to maintain the standards. - Implement &amp; Maintain the ISO Standards/Processes in areas of various Datacentre services including facilities. - To drive and facilitate businesses for various Datacenter services audit to explore vulnerabilities and threats, if any and ensure to fill the gaps of the audit in Datacenter domain D: Evaluation of New Technology. - To evaluate new Technologies in Datacenter domain for effective management and roll out new services. - Study and evaluate new technologies for data center switching, servers &amp; cloud technologies by coordinating with appropriate OEM's and considering business needs. - Conduct a technical feasibility study with respect to functionality v/s requirement. - Prepare &amp; Submit the techno-commercial comparison - To get the buy-in from management /businesses to implement the proposed solution. - Implement approved solutions and define new services deliverables, sow &amp; SLAs for rolling out new services. E: Solution Design To design the technical solution for internal Organisation customers for their hosting requirements so as to enable them to meet their business demands in the shortest possible timeframe and minimum cost - Study the various solutions as per requirements - Discuss and evaluate the options to be implemented with partners - To get the buy-in from management to implement the proposed solution - Implement approved solutions F Customer Review - Perform regular reviews with customers to identify business requirement and service improvement feedback. - Conduct service reviews with customers at regular intervals. - Advise businesses with regards to service requirements and promote available services - Develop and implement service improvement plans
