This position will take responsibility of collaborating with stakeholders to plan, design, develop, test, and run the Company's DDC ( Digital Data Center ) and analytics initiative. This position would report to Analytics Lead. The role will be expected to liaise with the the BU and Functional teams, external implementation partners and senior management to ensure all Analytics Initiatives are delivered to the highest standards

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain the digital data center and analytics initiative.

1. Contribute to creating a roadmap for driving digital transformation and process improvement for the enterprises operations.

a. Document the technology and product requirements and build use cases using the appropriate method for the business functions in conjunction with them. Clearly communicate processes, potential solutions, and use-cases through documentation, wireframes, interaction flows, prototypes, and visuals

b. Work closely with decision makers in the different business lines to develop KPIs to track, in-depth technology requirements and data and analytics strategies. Identify areas and metrics to apply optimization or predictive analytics.

c. Work with business or functions in designing front-end business intelligence multi-dimensional dashboards in an effective manner.

2. Contribute to the data engineering aspect of the digital transformation in the areas of Data Management (map-reduce), modelling of data for analytical workloads, ETL and other modern data engineering techniques on cloud.

3. Be able to collect and provide relevant domain as well technical insights to fine tune the Data Analytics Models built and improve the accuracy and usability of outputs generated.

4. Drive the implementation, testing, evolution and maintenance of Digital Data Center.

5. Work to understand and challenge solutions proposed by vendors and partners.

6. Be responsible for the quality and timely delivery of solutions delivered to the Business.

Required Candidate profile:

- University degree/Graduate/Post Graduate in Computer Science / Statistics / Data Science

- Should have total experience of over 8 - 10 years experience

- At least 3-5 years in Data Analytics

- Candidates working with Chemical/Pharma or any process Manufacturing company or IT services or Big 4 / IT / ITES

- Proven experience as an Analytics Manager or Data Engineer/Scientist

- Solid experience in data analysis, data engineering, data science modelling and optimization, cloud computing architecture and big data management and reporting; industry experience is a plus

- Knowledge of Excel, Python/R and SQL

- Familiarity with business intelligence tools/ data Visualization tools - Power BI

- Demonstrates an understanding of the IT environment as a whole, including enterprise applications like HRMS, ERPs, CRM, etc
