Manager - Cyber Response - Information Systems

- B.Tech/ MCA/ MBA (IT) with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cyber security incidents response or security operations center (SOC)

- One or more of the following certifications: CCE, CEH, CFCE, CHFI, CISSP, ECIH, ECSA, EnCE, GCFA, GCFE, GCIA, GCIH, GPEN, GREM, GWAPT, MiCFE, OSCP, Security+

- In addition, one or more of the following governance certifications is preferred: Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP ); Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA ); Certified Information Security Manager (CISM )

- Able to balance multiple projects and clients at the same time

- Able to work on large and complex engagements

- Able to develop solutions for zero-day investigations and nonstandard platforms

- Able to Display patience and to change in a dynamic environment

- Capable of demonstrating excellent communication skills, including written and verbal

- Capable of demonstrating excellent deductive reasoning, critical thinking and problem solving skills

- Able to demonstrate the ability of being detail-oriented and meeting deadlines

- Successful at leading teams during both client delivery as well as internal projects

- Experience within IT or security consulting organizations or leadership within industry companies

- Strong leadership and communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to write at a "publication" quality level in order to communicate findings and recommendations to the client's senior management

- Must possess a high degree of integrity and confidentiality, as well as the ability to adhere to both company policies and best practices

A cyber response manager is a leader within the cyber response team and recognized within the firm as a specialist in digital forensics and incident response. This role assists in the development and implementation of our technical service offerings, as well as oversees and executes the delivery of technical cyber response work on client engagements. The cyber response manager participates in the technical quality assurance process, training and skills development. Their primary method of client relationship development is ensuring that the technical elements of an engagement are of high quality and value.

- Develop an understanding of the Risk Consulting service offerings, methodologies, and tools

- Serve as a senior-level technical resource for cyber security incident handling

- Mentor junior team members

- Provide qualified guidance on and coordinate execution of identification, analysis, response and recovery efforts

- Project Management

- Communicate policies, expectations, and feedback to staff

- Facilitate a high-performance team environment and employee engagement

- Provide performance feedback and corrective action to direct staff

- Provide input on process improvements and contribute to the technology road map for the strategic plan.

- Participate in proof of concepts for new cyber security tools and capabilities

- Prepare formal written reports suitable for legal matters

- Support incident and investigations post-mortem briefings, analysis, and reporting

- Develop and maintain hands on technical skills

- Utilize experience and knowledge of a variety of technologies to conduct analysis of evidence to determine their validity and whether the information has forensic significance

- Performing business discovery and developing recovery plans

- Evaluating compromised equipment and developing an business impact analysis

- Performing data recoverability analysis

- Works closely with the client and team to make sure we meet or exceed client expectations on each engagement and maintain high customer satisfaction.

- Exercise professional skepticism, judgment and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements

- Work collaboratively as a part of the team and communicate effectively with consulting professionals, and senior management in the U.S. on a daily basis
