Job Description

- Responsible for managing client engagements under the Customs, Foreign Trade Policy and SEZ legislation / regulations

- Providing advisory support to internal client engagement teams and assist with liaison with concerned authorities

- Identify solutions to issues pertaining to interpretation of law or implementation of policy /legislation and provide inputs to internal teams / clients

- Assisting with identification of business development opportunities under the Customs, Foreign Trade Policy and SEZ legislation / regulations

- Tracking developments and providing updates on Customs, Foreign Trade Policy and SEZ related matters to clients and internal client engagement teams

Profile requirements-

Qualifications - CA or MBA in International Trade or LLB

Experience- 8+ years

Desired skills

- In-depth knowledge and understanding of international trade, compliance and Customs regulations

- Practical experience with working on complex matters under the Customs, Foreign Trade Policy and SEZ regulations / legislation

- Experience with dealing with liaison with Customs, DGFT, SEZ authorities and other associated associations / ministries

- Well versed with import and export procedures and controls

- Must possess digital acumen to identify opportunities to create efficiencies using technology

- Excellent communication and networking skills
