Manager - Crisis Management & Business Continuity - Captive Shared Service Center (5-11 yrs)

Our Client are the Captive shared service center of a global insurance organization with operations in multiple countries The organization provides a wide range of Insurance, retirement solutions and Financial support to their Clients.

Mandatory :

- 5 - 10 years' of experience managing Business Continuity and Crisis Management efforts and programs

- Some industry certification - Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP), etc.

Responsibilities :

Crisis Management:

- Serve as the Crisis Management Lead during regional incidents and act as an advisor to the local division Crisis Management Teams, which is made up of senior leaders in the division.

- Responsible for assisting your division leads in updating their crisis management playbooks. Ensure corrective action trends have been identified and addressed in the playbooks.

- Partner with the divisions in developing, facilitating, and evaluating the division crisis management team exercises.

- Other initiatives to support the global program as needed. This may include supporting local safety and security initiatives as needed.

Business Continuity:

- Partner with the division champions to ensure local Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) are developed and/or updated to meet global policy. Review certain plans and provide scorecards of your findings.

- Conduct annual meetings with the division champions in the region to determine if the division BIA/BCP is effective. Advise on possible solutions to ensure minimal disruption during incidents where gaps exists.

- Serve as the relationship owner and troubleshoot issues for the global business continuity planning software.

- Facilitate monthly meetings with your division sponsor and champions to ensure program initiatives are on target and risk areas are relayed.

- Present division status results to the Governance Committee (Senior Management group) quarterly.

- Partner with the division champions for developing, facilitating, and evaluating the division's business continuity exercises, in accordance with the divisions multi-year exercise plan.

- Other initiatives to support the global framework as needed

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated leadership and project/program management experience, required

- 5 - 10 years' of experience managing Business Continuity and Crisis Management efforts and programs

- 1 to 3 years of exercise design, facilitation, and after action experience

- Demonstrated inter-personal skills and must be comfortable communicating and working collaboratively with all levels

- Strong organizational and planning skills

- The ability to multi-task with numerous competing deadlines

- Bachelor's degree, Master's Degree preferred.

- Experience working in a large complex private organization preferred.

- Will need to be on call during real incidents and willing to support the region operations during their business hours.
