Manager - Credit Risk Analytics/SAS - IIT/NIT/IIM/ISB/XLRI/DSE/JNU/ISI

Brief description of the role:

- Work with the team to solve client business problems by translating them into Credit Risk analytics problem solving framework with SAS

- Analyze structured and unstructured data from a number of drivers in the interest of solving specific questions/problems with processes in the various functional areas

- Hands on experience in Data modelling and data analytics tools like,SAS and good knowledge in advanced analytics / Machine learning / statistical / data mining / Text mining techniques in Regression or classification

- The individual needs to leverage existing data and generate actionable insights

- Deliver on analytical solutions in insurance, leveraging deep business understanding and analytical expertise

- Develop and maintain a relationship with business stakeholders

- Business Problem Solutions with Value addition to client businesses

- Specify Analysis tasks to generate insights

- Maintain high standards of quality

- Research and apply new methodologies to varied client situations

- Project Management

- Team Management

- Contributions to Strategic Initiatives within Analytics practice

Candidate Profile:

Education/Qualification:

1. Mandatory: Bachelors in Engineering/ Technology/Statistics or Masters in Computing (In case of graduation in Non-engineering stream), like MCA, BCA, M.Sc. in IT, No B.Com / B.A. candidates unless they have a computing Masters. Master's degree (if there), should be full time (no IGNOU)

Work Experience:

1. Flexible : 4+ years in Analytics industry

Functional Skills:

1. Good knowledge of text mining in Python

Other Requirements:

1. Willing to work 1-11 pm, IST

2. Good communication skills - should be able to converse fluently in English

3. Hands on experience working on Email Triaging and Classification problem will be an added advantage
