Manager - Credit Risk Analytics - BFSI

- Relevant credit and risk management knowledge / experience.

- The job holder will have a good knowledge of credit risk, having had experience at either a regional or country level Wholesale Credit Risk team.

- The job holder will have advanced analysis skills, including data management and presentation.

- Proven ability to engage with internal stakeholders regularly by understanding and sharing commercial practices, challenges and potential solutions and by working collaboratively.

- Excellent analytical skills, including analytical languages (SAS/SQL).

- Experience working with MI visualization tools such as Tableau / Qlikview /Business Objects etc.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Word & Access and other query tools and use them for streamlining the process.

- Strong working experience on Group Credit/Risk systems.

- Learn & understand end to end processes. Take lead on these processes and be a single point of contact for business for any queries related to process & changes.

Competencies :

- Advanced communication skills, both written and spoken English.

- Sound analytical skills and keen attention to detail.

- Ability in handling and processing mass volume of data.

- Quick learner with the ability and desire to become a SME in technical areas

- Manage self in a positive, engaging, thoughtful and constructive manner, from a role which often has a material influence on outcomes.

- Operate under rigid timelines to generate complex reports, in many cases with imperfect data.

- Maintaining well-regarded, thoughtful communications with principal stakeholders.

- Develop & improve level of engagement and networking with the respective Business Area and Risk departments through efficient use of the available communication tools & effective networking.

- Assist in compiling insightful reports and minutes for governance meetings.

- Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and manage stakeholder expectations. This role is expected to have multiple deliverables with multiple team members at one time.

- Able to take ownership, respond to feedback and suggest viable alternative approaches.

- Ability to work independently.

- Ensuring consistency of service and demonstrating the company's Values.

Qualifications :

- Graduate or Post-Graduate in Commerce/ Finance/Economics/ Engineering or related field

Experience :

- Experience in corporate banking / wholesale risk management/ portfolio management in multiple corporate sectors/ geographies.

- Professional experience in a financial services or consulting firm.

- Prior experience in dealing with virtual business partners across the globe.
