Manager - Cost Management - Real Estate - CA

Job Purpose:

Principal Accountabilities:

- In-depth review of Quarterly Cost to Completion exercise of all Ongoing Projects. Ensure full control and timely monitoring of all cost elements and flag early signs of overrun.

- Support in Timely structured review and approval of new project Cost budget at different stages- CD, SD, DD, GFC etc.

- Sound Knowledge of Project Lifecycle costing and tracking quarter on quarter cost estimates against original business plan.

- Support in Internal & External benchmarking of Costs and driving cost saving initiatives with Project team.

- Rate analysis of major heads of packages being awarded and give recommendations to HoD for financial approval of Contracts.

- SAP related automations and Standardisation of overall project cost Structure (WBS), savings, escalation, contingency budgets etc.

- Support in onboarding & development support for Project Lifecycle Management tools.

- Tracking & preparing project related MIS & monitoring of Project cashflows against planned progress.

- Support to FP&A team for annual project budget and cash-flow forecast.

- Detailed review and pre-approval of all contracts on financial terms, cost and tax optimisations and budgetary control.

- Finalise adequate insurance for all projects, diligence/financial pre-qualification of vendors, tracking and timely renewal of Bank Guarantees

- Ensure CA certification of Project for quarterly RERA certification and other cost certifications related to CTO, CTE, DTPC etc.

- Project budget & Cashflow forecast

- Quarterly review & clearance of Project Cost Budget

- Tracking Project's cost related KPIs

- Driving/support automation and standarisation

Functional Competencies:

- Strong conceptual understanding of Project lifecycle costing,

- Good in business partnering, achieving stringent timeline, and driving things.

- Excellent know how of SAP ERP, and MS-Office (Excel, Power-point, Word & Outlook)

- Analytical skills with solution oriented approach and positive attitude

Qualification and Experience:

- CA/CMA with 4-8 years of experience
