About The Role :
- The Sales / Biz Development Manager (aka SDM / SDR / BDR) is responsible for supporting the team on their mission to reach targets.
- We're looking for a results-driven sales development representative to actively seek new business opportunities, engage and build relationships with HR managers and decision-makers at various mid-size to large enterprises as potential customers.
- You will provide appropriate solutions for every potential customer and further help in creating qualified sales opportunities to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
- This role requires hustle, tact, and teamwork. SDMs / SDRs should have at least 3+ years of experience in a complex, B2B sales role.
- SaaS experience would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities :
- Qualify leads from via outbound campaigns / marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential prospects through cold calls and emails
- Present our company to potential prospects
- Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services as an expert on employee benefits
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Sales Executives
- Assist in hosting and supporting marketing events to continue to increase public awareness about products
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and their value to our customers
- Think critically about sales data and recommend new and scalable strategies to improve both sales numbers and the customer experience
- Identify inefficiencies and pain points in existing workflows for prospects/customers and clearly communicate how we can solve these issues
Qualifications :
- Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing and social outreach.
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience working with a Sales CRM
- Fair understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- High level of natural intelligence, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
- High degree of coachability and great listening skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
