Corporate Sales Manager - Forex
The role holder will be primarily responsible for Client servicing and acquisition thereby maintaining relationships with new and existing clients in the location defined. He/She will be responsible for advising on FX risk management e.g. Bank liaison, Trade finance, Hedging & Trading advisory services using exchange/bank platforms
- Developing and maintaining client relationships and manage their currency risk in portfolio
- Updating the domestic and foreign clients on the developments of the market
- Develop individual hedging strategies for each client and ensure the implementation of the same
- Intermediary between the client and bank for the day to day dealings and negotiations
- Ensure to increase the profitability for clients
- Upscale the relationship with a prospective client for getting them associated with FX and Rates
Outcomes & KPIs :
- Profitability from both new & existing clients
- Generate references from the client for new acquisitions
- Renewals of the existing Client relationships
- Maintaining the MIS for the transparency and accountability for the client and desk
Key Relationships :
Internal : Sales, Research, Dealing Desk
External : Existing & Prospective Clients, Trade associations such as FICCI, ASSOCHAM, CII, law/CA firms etc
Education & Work Experience :
Educational Qualifications :
- Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Finance/ MSc. in Economics or MBA in Finance/CA or similar function(s) from an institute of repute in India or abroad
Technical Skills : MS Office, Reuters/Bloomberg
Relevant Experience :
- Relevant work experience in Client Servicing to Retail or Institutional clients. Should be confident and maintain client relations efficiently
- Candidate should be well conversant with forex terminologies and hedging instruments (Forwards, Futures, Swaps, Options)
- Candidate should be able to comprehend company's research and have the skill set of convincing clients for hedging their exposures
- Candidate should have relevant work experience of 2-8 years in FX advisory / FX sales / Derivative dealing / FX technology / information software system in Banks/ Broking/ Consulting or Technology companies
