Manager - Corporate/Indirect Purchase - Media/Marketing Procurement (8-15 yrs)

The successful candidate should have 8+ years of experience in Indirect Purchase, service procurement, marketing & Media Procurement.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks :

1. Achieve savings targets and KPIs established by the organisation.

2. Coordinate & work with various brands for the effective planning & execution of purchasing activities.

3. Preparation and monitoring of daily / weekly / strategic activities independently and along with the respective Head.

4. Timely approval of Bidders List, send RFQ, receive quotations, organize technical approvals and Shopping cart.

5. Get the new suppliers registered into B2B system, KSRM & SAP (documentation, follow up etc.)

6. Prepare price comparisons, benchmarking and plan the price negotiation (internal reviews, benchmarking, strategy etc.).

7. Prepare and conduct price negotiations with the suppliers.

8. Support the cost saving initiatives- localization, alternate sourcing etc.

9. Preparation and participation in Local Pre-meetings (ISC), Pre-Meetings (WOB), Corporate Sourcing Committee (CSC) meetings and other decision-making forums.

11. Prepare Purchase Orders in KSRM and SAP and take necessary approvals. Accordingly send to the Suppliers

12. Handle Purchase Order change management.

13. Liasioning with Users, Finance etc. for Supplier related issues.

14. Adherence to the processes and procedures (wherever applicable).

Critical, Technical & Behavioral Skills (As required for the role)

Technical Skills:

1. Knowledge of purchasing processes

2. Knowledge for various commercial-legal terms and their implication

3. Cost estimates of various commodities and equipment

4. Negotiation skills

Behavioral Skill:

1. Good communication skills to coordinate with all levels of the organization, suppliers, financial partners & Interested parties.

2. Excellent presentation skill to prepare self-explanatory drafts, presentation to the Pre-meeting/ CSC for approvals.

3. Assertiveness & Positive attitude
