1. Financial Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement corporate financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Drive financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Provide analysis and recommendations for financial decisions such as investments, cost structures, and profitability improvement.
2. Capital Allocation & Funding:
- Analyze capital requirements and explore funding options such as debt, equity, or internal financing.
- Lead efforts in securing funding for growth initiatives and major projects.
- Manage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
3. Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow analysis.
- Analyze business performance, identify financial trends, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Review financial results for business units and present findings to senior leadership.
4. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
- Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities to support business expansion and growth.
- Perform due diligence, financial modeling, and risk analysis for mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Assist in integration planning and post-acquisition financial management.
5. Risk Management:
- Assess financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies for operational, market, and liquidity risks.
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
6. Investor Relations:
- Develop financial presentations for investors, analysts, and board members.
- Support quarterly earnings calls and corporate disclosures.
- Maintain transparency and clear communication with key stakeholders regarding financial performance and outlook.
7. Cost Optimization:
- Identify and drive initiatives to reduce operating costs while maintaining business efficiency.
- Work with different departments to ensure cost-effective resource allocation and financial performance.
8. Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure financial practices comply with industry standards, local regulations, and tax laws.
- Liaise with external auditors and support audits as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
Requirements:
Education: CA (2019/ 2020/2021)
Experience: Minimum [3+] years of experience in corporate finance, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
Skills:
- Strong financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting skills.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance principles, accounting practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Expertise in financial management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
