Manager - Corporate Affairs,

The incumbent should be Graduate/post Graduate with over 8 to 12 years of experience in Corporate Affairs and Government Relations in a reputed Manufacturing / FMCG / Telecom / Infrastructure Company.

The incumbent will be responsible for-:

- Meeting & interacting with senior Government officers on policy/ legislation & proposals relating to the industry. Communicating and convincing them the various issues pertaining to the industry and facilitate in getting favorable reply/ response;

- Obtaining timely permissions, approvals, and clearances from the State Governments/State Excise departments to facilitate smooth operation thereby avoiding disruptions.

- Intimating management about various policy decisions of the Government well in advance;

- Building relationships with Government departments to secure their support as and when situation demands;

- Networking with Industry Associations to bring together other companies in the same domain at a common platform for industry benefitting agenda.

- Coordinating with Region Sales/Manufacturing/Supply Chain Teams for issues in their respective domains and providing solutions there off

- Assisting the preparation of proposals to Govt., monitoring of their progress and follow-up till approval

- To co-ordinate with functions and managers so as to extend effective service to them in solving/cracking issues involving clearance from State either directly or in tandem with the concerned formation.

- To set up and step up networking with various trade bodies to represent the company influence present governmental policies and legalization's in the overall interest of the company.

- To keep Region head apprised of moves and moods of the competition coming to Govt. on variety of issues and Govt.- stands on their issues

- To extend assistance to Head of Region and Lead - Corporate Affairs in arranging for meetings and introduction to relevant authorities
