Content Marketing Manager (remote opportunity)


Role : Content Marketing Manager

Location : Remote (work from anywhere: India)

About the employer:

An early-stage Fintech based in Dubai with the vision to simplify spend for underserved businesses. Have raised a seed round of funding of $ 2.5 M.

About the role:

- The organization is starting to build out the marketing team and looking for the first content marketer to contribute to the vision and shape the reality of how businesses can manage their expenses seamlessly.


- You'll get to own content marketing end-to-end. including helping the company avoid using jargon like end-to-end.


- Reporting to the Founding Marketing Lead, your work will be highly visible, and cross-functional, and play a huge role in telling the story of the future of business spend and expense management.

In this role, you can expect to:

- Create, own, and drive the content strategy to build thought leadership for the company and develop valuable resources and inspiration for businesses on how to efficiently manage their business expense.

- Help develop the brand voice and write content people can't resist sharing.

- Understand and shape the role content plays in each step of the customer lifecycle for a product-led growth company: from building awareness to educating about the company, to converting website visitors to customers, and turning customers into advocates

- Put SEO best practices and A/B testing to work to increase web traffic and optimize content discovery and performance

- Create a bevy of compelling content and tools (e.g., articles, case studies, white papers, videos, emails, webpages, landing pages, interactive tools, etc.) from idea through execution that's relatable, helpful, and uplifting

- Develop and implement social media strategy including the creation of original content

- Create or source designs to help tell the full story

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of experience creating and building content and campaigns for a B2B audience

- Understand the role SEO, social media, email campaigns and PR play in content distribution and traffic growth

- A really good copywriter and editor with an eye for blog posts and landing pages that don't read like they're optimized for SEO (but are)

- Ability to own the planning and the execution, down to the final details

- Data-driven and used to tracking the impact of your efforts

- Familiarity with Figma and a high level of comfort creating designs from templates for blog posts and social media. (Got the skills to design them yourself? Even better.)

- Enough knowledge of Webflow, or similar tool, to publish blog posts and edit website pages

- Can art direct videographers and graphic designers

- Experience working with customers to create co-branded content

- Creative and curious approach to everything you do
