Manager - Consulting Group - Leading Pharma MNC
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver projects/work streams with high quality, client-ready outputs with minimal supervision; identify risks/issues and escalate to the project principals in a timely manner
- Skilled with client interaction - Clearly communicate project outputs, identify risks and highlight to stakeholders
- Drive collaboration with regional client teams globally and ensure sustained collaboration with key leaders from global offices
- Perform primary research to build a detailed understanding of the target market, company or opportunity
- Source information based on specific client requirements through secondary research and Client data sources
- Integrate qualitative & quantitative data and present the analysis in a structured manner to internal stakeholders/client; bring out value-added insights to the clients
Undertake market analysis to include details on the :
- Market characteristics (market size and growth, prescriptions, days of therapy, patient types, market share, number of competitors, market trends, market attractiveness)
- Competitor characteristics (product characteristics, competitor marketing strategies, sales force activities, pricing analysis)
- Prescriber characteristics (number of prescribers by specialty, physician prescription activity, desires and unmet needs)
- Critically think through the answer to the - so-what- from a client perspective
- Mentor and coach the junior members of the local Consulting team
Education & Experience:
- Graduate/Post-graduate Degree in Life Sciences/Engineering/Business from a premier institute
- Minimum 6 years of work experience, preferably in Healthcare Consulting
- Extensive experience of leading team for end-to-end project delivery
- 4-5 years of experience in direct client facing role within Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology/Consulting/Professional Services company
- Possess demonstrated hands on expertise in one or more practice areas (Strategy & Portfolio Analysis, Pricing & Market Access and Brand & Commercial Strategy)
- Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and presentation skills
