Manager - Compliance - General Insurance Industry (3-8 yrs)

Role :- Manager - Compliance

Location - Mumbai

Position Responsibilities :-

- Assisting the CCO in monitoring all regulatory (as applicable to a General Insurance Company) compliances and, wherever required, with other regulatory bodies

- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring the compliance, by various internal workstreams, preparation of compliance manual and regular update of the same.

- To co-ordinate and assist the Statutory Auditors, Internal auditors and Regulatory Compliance Audit teams in relevant areas.

- Liasioning with internal stakeholders and ensuring quality and timely feedback / response to the compliance queries raised.

Liasoning with GI Council/IRDA

- Assisting the Company Secretary in preparation, conducting and organizing the Board Meeting, Annual General Meeting and Extra ordinary General Meeting of the Company

- Preparation and drafting of Agenda, Resolutions and Minutes pertaining to Board Meeting, Extra ordinary General Meeting, Annual General Meeting and also various management level committees of the Company

- Resolving the actionable after the Meetings

- Coordination/ follow-up with various departments for data required for above mentioned meetings before decided timelines

- Agenda for the Board and Committee meeting was disseminated to the senior management to ensure effective decision before agreed time

Qualifications and Experience :-

- CA / CS / LLB & have atleast 3 years of experience in compliance and regulatory matters in General Insurance Industry.

The Candidate should be Self Motivation, Willing to work independently, Insurance Law Procedures (Thorough with Insurance Laws and related regulations, notifications and circulars), grievance handling with regulatory viewpoint and insight.

Ability to independently prepare and implement governance and compliance structure.
