Manager - Compliance - Bank (3-8 yrs)

The position is of a compliance officer who will be responsible for identifying and assessing areas of compliance risk; understanding and communicating the importance of the compliance program of the Bank effectively to the various stakeholders; prepare and distribute action items arising out of multiple regulations and have a clear understanding of the various Policies and Products of the Bank under the liability function.

Primary Job duties:

- Understand and cull out action items from notifications issued by regulatory bodies (RBI, NPCI, IRDAI etc.) for the purpose of dissemination to respective stakeholders

- Follow through and diligently track the action items till closure

- Ability to review the Policies, product programs and processes initiated by the Bank

- Conduct Compliance Testing (Thematic, Product, Return and Tranche III) in line with the principles as enumerated as part of the compliance function to effectively identify gaps, violations if any and bring it to the notice of the CCO.

- Have subject matter knowledge of liability processes and examine Audit Reports for identification of regulatory issues

- Handle Regulatory and Statutory Correspondences for adequate response, tracking and timely closure.

- Knowledge of Returns submitted to regulator

- Review of data submitted to RBI or other regulators

- Preparing of various compliance dashboards

- Adhoc activities

Principal duties:

- Oversee, co-ordinate and monitor the day to day compliance activities

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance of regulatory requirements

- Identify compliance issues at a Department level and appropriately communicate

- Understand the Compliance Function and ensure to comply with all laws, regulations, policies and ethical requirements

- Conduct regular assessment to determine whether Bank is in adherence to the policies
