Job Description

General Summary:

Reporting to the - India Head HR- with dotted line to EMEA Comp & Ben Director, this position is responsible for ensuring international competitive pay practices are maintained by evaluating rewards programs, keeping abreast of legislation, trends, advances and/ or new technology and making recommendations for changes and improvements. This position will also closely work with external vendors to develop, administer and design new or modify existing compensation and Benefits programs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Communicates all reward programs to managers and employees as well as approving certain programs.

- Work closely with the business & HR partners to initiate, influence and drive the Compensation & Benefits Strategy to attract and retain the top talent.

- Manage projects such as compensation, survey participation and analysis.

- Manage incentive plans and other compensation plans such as bonus, variable pay and equity plans.

- Design, manage and implement benefits plans for the organization in India in line with Global guidelines.

- Responsible for providing analytical support to the HR organization. Serving as a point of contact for Compensation & Benefits data and information;

- Manage maintenance and accuracy of employee data, for reporting and distribution.

- Develop user procedures, guidelines and standard work documentation. Train clients on new processes/ functionality. Train new system users.

Education and Experience Required:

- Degree - BE/MBA in Business or Human Resources from a premier institute.

- At least 5 years compensation experience.

- Industry exposure - Information Technology, preferred.

- Results- oriented with appropriate attention to accuracy

- Conversant with matrix reporting / global reporting.

Job related competencies and / or experience required:

- Conceptual Understanding of HR and C&B Function and its implication on transactional Business Partner service environment

- Exposure to performance management, through HR intervention to keep high performing workforce

- Ability to exercise high level initiative, Judgment, discretion in accomplishing the task that meets the business priorities and objectives

- Effective Organizational skills and ability to judge priority and work independently

- Ability to adopt and demonstrate teaming and leadership behavior and skills in managing crisis situation

- Ability to pursue critical thinking of current C&B practice/s and suggest ways to improve / streamline to bring efficiency

- Conversant with basic Employment /Regulatory / Statutory compliance, from a Labor Law perspective

- Financial acumen. Able to assess reasonableness of results, and self- review.

- Excellent Oral and Written Communication

- Conversant with MS - Office tools
