SCOPE OF THE ROLE :

- Design, implement and ensure that the compensation and benefits programs are designed to attract top talent and retain key employees

JOB PROFILE :

- Work with management to design compensation and benefits programs that support the organizations business objectives

- Prepare the annual C&B budget for assigned areas and manage the same

- Ensure the C&B programs comply with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements

- Ensure that the C&B program costs are in line with the organizations objectives, culture, and philosophy

- Design, develop and implement salary, bonus and benefits packages for all employees

- Manage all payouts monthly payroll, bonuses, commissions, incentives and other employee benefits like insurance, gratuity, retention plans etc.

- Do Annual C&B surveys and periodic Peer comparison and benchmarking exercises to review the gross and net remuneration packages which are offered for employees across the retail industry and benchmark them with peers

DELIVERABLES :

- Annual C&B planning, budgeting and implementation

- Salary Range review, rationalization and fitments

- Payroll, Performance, Commissions, Incentive and Reward plan payouts

- Pay parity analysis and merit review exercises

THE RIGHT PERSON :

- Should be a MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from a reputed institute with at least 5 years of work experience preferably in Retail/ FMCG

- Certifications like CCP or similar from SHRM/HRCI would be a distinct advantage

- Should have independently handled the C&B function and managed a small team

- Should have experience in liaising with external agencies for C&B benchmarking

- Should possess good communication and interpersonal skills

- High proficiency in MS-Excel and PowerPoint is required
