Role : - Responsible for leading collections efforts from data and risk modelling standpoint and ensuring portfolio quality within benchmarks by developing and implementing effective collections strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Provide subject matter experts in risk taking matters including acquisitions, approvals, declines, line assignment, pricing etc. - Implement best practices for origination and account management policies and strategies. - Implement robust portfolio and strategy monitoring and tracking systems. - Propose modification and redevelopment of strategies basis analysis. - Be proactive about solving problems even if it's outside of your area and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge. Desired Skills and Experience: - Experience in managing retail portfolios like Mortgages, Cards, Loans and Overdraft. - Experience in Analytics preferably from fields like Strategy Development, Loss Forecasting/ Reserving, Modelling, - Risk Strategy etc. Should carry good working knowledge of any analytics software. - Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically including the ability to formulate data-driven and result-oriented decisions. - Good interpersonal, communication (spoken and written) and influencing skills and an ability to navigate a complex and unstructured cross-functional environment. - Should follow first principles thinking. - Ideal candidate should be hungry, proactive, and outward-oriented, detail oriented with a bias for action and delivering results.
