The Manager - Claims Management will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end claims process for non-employee benefits (Non-EB) insurance, including property, liability, marine, and other general insurance claims. The role involves liaising with insurers, surveyors, and clients to ensure efficient claim resolution while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Handling & Processing:
- Manage and process general insurance claims (Motor, Fire, Property, Marine, Liability, Engineering, etc.).
- Assess claim documents, liaise with clients, insurers, and surveyors for smooth claim settlement.
- Provide guidance to clients on claim procedures and required documentation.
Negotiation & Settlement:- Work closely with insurers to negotiate fair and timely claim settlements.
- Handle claim disputes and escalations efficiently to ensure client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with loss adjusters, surveyors, and legal teams if required.
Client Relationship Management:- Serve as a key point of contact for clients regarding their claims.
- Provide regular updates and reports on claim statuses and progress.
- Assist clients in risk mitigation strategies based on claim trends and analysis.
Compliance & Documentation:- Ensure claims are processed in accordance with regulatory and compliance guidelines.
- Maintain accurate claim records and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Process Improvement:- Identify process gaps and suggest improvements in claims handling.
- Implement best practices to enhance claims management efficiency.
Experience:- 3+ years of experience in claims management within the general insurance or broking industry.
- Strong expertise in handling non-EB claims such as property, marine, motor, liability, and engineering insurance
Skills & Competencies:- Strong knowledge of general insurance policies and claim procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, insurers, and surveyors.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and insurance claims software.
