Manager/Chief Manager - Distribution/Agency Strategy - Life Insurance - IIM/MDI/ISB/FMS (3-8 yrs)

To provide inputs to develop a distribution strategy and propose new distribution models in line with the business agenda. The role would also involve taking new initiatives during the year which would either supplement the existing distribution structure and/or create new distribution models and streamlining the distribution back-end processes to ensure consistent support to the distribution sales force. The purpose is to also perform financial analysis of the channel, including zonal and branch level analysis and track expense gap along with giving suggestions.

Job Profile :

- Performance financial analysis on the channels including Zonal and branch level analysis and track expense

- The role is responsible for setting sales targets based on set defined logics.

- Plans new initiatives which would help in achieving channel objective

- Scalability and integration of new business models along with the current existing business model in the field without any disturbance and with seamless transition

- High dependency & coordination with other functions for arriving at business solutions.

- Frequent course corrections basis market/sales team feedback to make the business models more robust & effective.

- Developing new initiatives balancing cost with attractiveness and ensuring success of the initiatives

Liaise with Heads of Training Institutes for ensuring quality curriculum and ensuring selection of quality faculty members resulting into quality training is a major challenge when the qualification norms are specified and have few people existing in system

Accountability :

- Propose New distribution models within existing distribution setup and create new verticals.

- Perform Financial Analysis and carry out Budgeting to identify the expense gaps and take corrective action

- Managing Projects pertaining to Expansion, Restructuring & Other Initiatives

- Gather and communicate Market & Industry Intelligence

- Propose Branch allocation for Zonal & Regional clusters

- Preparation of presentations for reviews and other Financial Analytics and Senior Management Support

- Responsible for monitoring the IRDA training cost and ensure its management within the stipulated budget

- Achieve a competitive pass percentage in contributing to meeting the advisors recruitment target

- Team Development

Candidate Profile:

- Ideal candidate should be Engineer +MBA or an MBA from a premium Business school, with minimum 3-6 years working experience with Life Insurance company is must.
