Manager/Cheif Manager/AVP - Legal - Asset Reconstruction (4-10 yrs)
Looking to hire for an Well Know ARC :
Essential :
- Demonstrated experience in DRT/DRAT/NCLT/High Court/Lower Courts etc for recovery of loans including Section 138 cases
- Prior experience in initiating recovery under SARFESI till auctioning of assets.
- Should have played an important role in strategizing steps (from a legal perspective) for recovery of loans NPA's.
- Overseeing all legal actions that have been initiated and advise management from time to time.
- Experience of Liaising with Advocates on a regular basis to ensure coverage of all potential legal issues which could impact efficient operations as well as review all ongoing litigations on a continual basis.
- Suggest cases for settlement, withdrawal etc. of cases post evaluation of legal aspects on a case to case basis.
- Suggest appointment of external solicitors from the empaneled list to represent ARC in court proceedings for the respective zone
- Preparing and Overseeing, all legal documentation including and not limited to agreements/tenders/business related matters etc
- Direct communication of any changes in regulatory requirements, statutory provisions to respective departments and advocates and ensure compliance to the same
- Ensure adequate training of team members to be able to handle market dynamics and meet the requirements of the customers
- A team player with high standards of integrity
- For AVP, leadership experience is essential
- Fully computer Literate with good communication capability both oral as well as written
Desirable :
- Experience and knowledge of resolutions under IBC
- Domain Knowledge of Legal Aspects of Infrastructure and Real Estate Funding are preferred
- Experience of dealing with Private Equity Funds as also Corporate Finance Legal Documentation would be a distinct advantage.
