We're looking for an ambitious, multi-talented manager to work closely with our CEO, at the centre of our fast-moving start-up, solving problems with seriously high levels of accountability.

The chief of staff is a role without a JD - it is like the front row seat to the CEO's office. One day, you would be creating a strategic deck for VCs and on another day, you might be on a call hustling to get a new vendor onboarded. The role is ideal for a young, energetic and ambitious individual to aspires to grow as a leader in a start-up. It gives a 360-degree view on the organization and a close view into the life and challenges of a start-up.

As Manager in the CEO's Project Management Office (PMO), you will be working closely with the Business Heads and the SMT to drive the execution of company strategies and align the organization to the company goals/objectives. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supercharging their growth and development as a future manager by working across a range of agendas that concern the CEO Office.

Key Activities & Responsibilities :

Research and Horizon Scanning :

- Undertake regular research on industry trends, competitors to turn these into insights for the CEO

- Oversee research, benchmarking, data analysis undertaken by junior researchers to synthesize findings for product development

- Lead early-stage ideas working closely with the CEO offices before embedding these in the organization

Strategic Planning and Operations :

- Champion the development and delivery of the annual/quarterly/monthly strategic planning process for the company working as the bridge between the CEO and leadership team.

- Oversee the coordination of the key performance indicators for the company and have mechanisms set up to ensure they are regularly updated and reviewed.

- Identify areas where existing processes need to be revamped in the organization and drive those changes with the SMT

- Oversee daily business operations on behalf of the CEO through collaboration with senior management and department leaders, performing an array of tasks such as reviewing/drafting reports, creating presentations toward the alignment and attainment of company goals

Project Management :

- Own the Company's overall projects register whilst overseeing large cross- functional, organization- wide projects or initiatives across the range of stakeholders

- Scope, evaluate and quantify new opportunities, including partnerships

- Drive continuous improvement of operational processes with a focus on simplification.

Direct assistance/support to the CEO :

- Drive critical initiatives (which require cross-functional coordination) to impact facilitating all Board and CEO reviews (weekly / monthly / quarterly)

- Manage business priorities, working closely with the CEO to ruthlessly prioritize and execute on agreed to-dos, high quality outputs at speed is our mantra

- Attend meetings with the CEO and on behalf of the CEO, and provide administrative assistance, such as scheduling, issuing agenda, capturing meeting notes and actions, and follow up for the CEO

- Design and deliver relevant company dashboards, presentations, pitches for a range of internal and external communications and stakeholder management

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience :

Education : Preferably MBA graduate from Tier I Institution preferably in Finance/Strategy/Operations

Experience : Experience in a Business Management, Strategy and Planning, Data Analytics, PMO function

The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, enjoy working on complex problems, and partner with cross-functional peers.

- While the role will report to CEO, we're looking for a self-starter who can handle projects from start to finish. In other words, you're comfortable on your own. This means you're organized, systematic, agile, detail-oriented, hardworking, and focused.

- Previous experience (even if short) as a Founder's Associate or Chief of Staff in a start up is advantageous

- You have a deep love for all things new. You should be willing to learn fast. If you've built technology products before, that's a plus.

- Extremely versatile, multitasker with an eye for detail

- High data literacy, a logical approach, and excellent Excel/Sheets and Powerpoint/Keynotes skills

- A design bent and wider digital capabilities (eg Canva/Adobe/other softwares) is a plus
