The Capital Analytics team serves as the thought leadership and tool engine with a team of digital professionals to support new analytics tool development, process re-engineering and automation, financial analytics and user focused visualization. Position Details: Job Title : Manager Department : Capital Analytics, Transaction Advisory Services Reporting to : Assistant Director Location : Gurgaon Job description: Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities: - Translate high level business requirements/problems into sound and comprehensive analytical framework through appropriate usage of advanced statistical / mathematical techniques and responsible for successful delivery of the analyses/deliverables - Assist in delivering online solutions for purposes including strategic planning; mergers and acquisitions; investment appraisal; financial accounting and tax planning. - Design and build MS SQL Server/ SSRS / Power BI/SharePoint based tools & applications - Help incubate new finance analytical products by executing Pilot, Proof of Concept projects to establish capabilities and credibility with users and clients. This may entail working either as an independent SME or as part of a larger team - Stay abreast of current business and economic developments relevant to the client's business, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provided. - Exposure in Team handling and stakeholder management Competencies / skills: Must Have: - Highly numerate and analytical individual preferably with an excellent academic record and a degree in mathematics, economics, engineering or statistics - Strong understanding of technology best practices, analysis, visualization and latest trends - Proven experience in estimating, planning and managing technology driven projects. - Strong understanding of relational database concepts and ability to manage complex SQL projects - Understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, AngularJS, Angular 2/4, code versioning tools like Git, TFSs - Strong Analytical skills has ability to ask right questions, analyze data, draw conclusion by making appropriate assumptions - Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure - Excellent written and spoken English skills. Ability to translate business requirement into technical specification - Organized and structured in the completion of tasks - Experience of working in advisory/consulting/industry environment - Flexible to travel to location within India and abroad to deliver project work Good to Haves: - Visualization skills using Spotfire, Tableau or Power BI - Understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 along with AJAX and RESTful web services - Experience in supply chain, working capital, financial reporting, or asset management modeling - Experience in more than 1 industry sector Education & Experience: Graduate/ PG with relevant work experience of 8-10 years
