Manager - Business Intelligence & Analytics

Role Overview :

The key purpose of this role is to lead the BI platform development and operational management of the client. This role will also support the organization in enhancing the in-house analytical capability by utilizing and presenting the data in innovative ways.

Key Responsibilities (Detailed outline of the role holder) :

- Supporting the organization in implementing a BI platform using Power BI as the analytical and visualization tool

- Building and managing a data warehouse with integration from multiple sources for continuous improvements in the BI platform

- Leading the creation of the Data Science capability in the organization

- Running the day to day operational aspect of the BI system, making sure the agreed systems uptime and information freshness are maintained

- Supervise the working of all BI and related projects and analyze new requirements for feasibility and approval

- Perform ad-hoc analysis as required to support business strategy and analyze business performance

- Identifying gaps in data in the organization and preparing plans to gather it through internal business processes or from external sources

1. Hands-on experience in advanced SQL/ETL, fluent in VB Script, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau and good understanding of databases (Oracle, Azure Cosmos DB) in a complex business environment

2. Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner

3. Good knowledge of using ETL tools like SRSS, SSAS cubes, SSIS

4. Experience of working with Senior Management and understanding core requirements and translating them into technical documents and building scalable solutions using them
