Business Development Manager (For a Media Agency)

Workdays: 6 days workweek

About the role: We are looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager who will be responsible for expanding our service reach in India, through large strategic partnerships large Corporate Clients, SMEs, Social Enterprises (NGOs, CSR etc), Government Channels (CSD, CPC, Tenders) etc. Achieve targets as assigned by the organization on a monthly/quarterly basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Key responsibilities for this role, will include (but not limited to) identifying and developing strategic relationships, assisting in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect client referrals, working with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.

- Build strong business pipeline of Clients, Generate Leads and Convert them to successful deals. Identify opportunities to cross-sell other services offered by group company to present set of clients by Farming and Scouting for unexplored business avenues & generate revenue through it.

- Actively involved in assessing potential partnership opportunities with different industries/sectors/companies. Manage professional/ healthy relationship with prospects from pitching, negotiation, on-boarding, agreement closure to handover to the sales team

- Eager to travel 15 to 20 days per month across India to meet business prospects, explore business opportunities with prospective clients.

- Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with sales, product and marketing teams to help create and deliver new products for clients.

- Understand and be aware of competition and use this information to acquire a partner effectively.

- Actively involved in participating in industry/sector related conferences and

- Organize business call with sales team to update them on the ongoing business discussions with prospects.

Experience & Skills Required:


- The Candidate should have done B2B media sales for the minimum time span of 5 years.


- Experience in Hard-core Corporate, SME & Enterprise and B2B sales.


- At least 5 to 7 years of Business Development experience with enterprise (B2B) sales, BD and client management and channel building in the multiple sectors.


- The ideal candidate must have a strong track record of consistently exceeding acquisition targets and a passion for being involved with big, game-changing enterprises

- Fluent in English and Hindi. Any other language command would add value.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (power point, excel, word etc.)

- Able to create relevant business proposal deck as per the requirement of the business.

- Willing to travel at least 15 to 20 days per months across India.

- Self-driven, proactive, should have good business acumen, ready to accept new challenges. What we offer
