Business Development Manager (Europe / UK) - IT Services Responsibilities : - Overall to acquire new customers for the entire range of clients 'solutions and services. Specifically: - Develop qualified leads in new Enterprise logos - Execute all sales activities from prospecting through to hand-off of qualified leads to Sales Director for closure. - Cold-calling prospective clients which meet the agreed criteria - Build short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets - Engage with internal teams to develop compelling pitches and proposals - Attend weekly regional and global sales team meetings via video call - Attend virtual industry events & support events - Define best practices to evolve the companys lead generation playbook - Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status. - Update CRM and provide detailed activity reports The ideal candidate: - Is adept at solutions / consultative selling with proven experience in driving the entire sales cycle - Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English including the ability to provide professional level presentations remotely. - Is highly professional, engaging and a natural networker - Has proven experience of selling to all levels in an organization - Is a results-oriented self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver excellent results in a fast-paced environment. Must be proactive, able to prioritise and hit the ground running. - Has good understanding of the latest technologies and their impact on businesses especially in the areas of digital content, eCommerce and eLearning. - Has a mature outlook enabling seamless work with offshore teams and developing relationships to ensure a joined-up approach from a business and technical perspective. - An entrepreneur who can work with high degree of autonomy, but also a good team player - Should be willing work according to the geographic location being managed (Europe Markets) Qualifications : - Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university or equivalent. - Demonstrated high-level achievement in business development and/or new business Enterprise sales within the I.T. services industry in UK/EMEA/Europe Region. Experience of publishing and / or eLearning industries a plus. - A Hunter new-business mentality - Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills - Is proficient at working with productivity tools like MS Office and CRM like Salesforce. Experience in marketing automation tools like Pardot a plus. - Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization - Educational Qualification: B. Tech/B.E/M. Tech/MCA/M.Sc. Computer Science
