Manager - Business Development
Responsibilities:
Lead and Execute Sales Plans:
- Take charge of developing and implementing sales strategies aimed at mass market customers.
- Create detailed plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Provide Effective Leadership:
- Lead and motivate the sales operations team to ensure they meet their individual and collective goals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Identify Geographic Growth Opportunities:
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify key geographic areas for business expansion.
- Prioritize opportunities that align with company objectives and growth strategies.
Drive New Business Acquisition:
- Actively pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Ensure Profitable Decision-Making:
- Make informed decisions regarding pricing, profitability, and cost control measures.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to maximize profitability.
Close Deals and Manage Collections:
- Negotiate and finalize sales agreements with customers.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from clients and manage any outstanding issues.
Conduct Reviews and Maintain Customer Relations:
- Conduct regular reviews of sales performance and provide feedback to the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Enhance Sales Strategies and Product Knowledge:
- Continuously improve sales strategies based on market insights and industry trends.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's product knowledge and sales techniques.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven Experience in IT Solution Sales: Demonstrated success in selling IT services and solutions to various customer segments.
- Expertise in Datacenter Solutions and IT Infrastructure: Deep understanding of datacenter technologies, IT storage systems, server networking, and related infrastructure solutions.
- Knowledge of Hardware: Familiarity with hardware components such as switches, routers, firewalls, and their functionalities in IT environments.
- Wireless Solutions and Voice Technologies: Understanding of wireless networking solutions and voice communication technologies relevant to IT sales.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the IT services industry, with a strong network and understanding of market dynamics.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Boardroom Solutions Sales: Experience in selling solutions tailored for boardroom environments, emphasizing presentation and communication technologies.
- Corporate, Government, Banking & Institutional Sales: Track record of success in selling to corporate enterprises, government agencies, banking institutions, and other large organizations.
Qualifications:
- Extensive Sales Experience: Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in IT services and solutions, particularly in infrastructure and enterprise system
