Direct Reporting: VP - Sales & Marketing
Job Purpose:
- Business Development Executive is responsible for researching, generating leads and shadowing new business lead for the growth of the business.
- Promote company's business to prospective clients; Represent the organization in key external business relationships with major clients.
Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of compliance sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and direction to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- This involves setting clear expectations, fostering a positive team culture, and empowering team members to excel in their roles.
Compliance Expertise:
- Thorough understanding of compliance regulations, industry standards, and best practices relevant to the company's compliance management solutions.
- This includes staying updated on regulatory changes, emerging trends, and new technologies in compliance to provide informed recommendations to clients and support the sales team.
Client Relationship Management:
- Exceptional relationship-building skills to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- This includes understanding clients' needs, addressing concerns, and proactively identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional compliance services.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Experience in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with third-party vendors, consultants, and industry associations to enhance the company's offerings and expand its market reach in compliance management solutions.
Team Management:
- Strong managerial skills to recruit, onboard, train, and develop sales team members.
- This involves assessing team performance, providing constructive feedback, coaching team members to improve their skills, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance sales environment.
Sales Process Optimization:
- Ability to optimize the sales process for compliance management solutions, including lead generation, qualification, pipeline management, and closing deals.
- This skill involves implementing best practices, sales methodologies, and sales automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Cold call prospects that are generated by external sources of lead
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts
- Understand client requirements and conceptualize solutions to meet them effectively
- Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
- Make Client specific sales presentations to prospective clients
- Collaborate with appropriate team members to get the base price of the services to be offered
- To be actively involved in pricing and negotiation for the agreement
- Preparing and sending proposal to clients
- Make outbound follow up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross sell and upsell
- Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert into sales
- Overcome objections of prospective clients
